Each paper we offer is a good choice for the product. You often have the option between lighter and heavier papers. Papers also come with different coatings.

All plastic cards are laminated with transparent film for protection. The film lamination can have a glossy or matt surface. You decide:
- We recommend glossy lamination for designs in light colours.
- We recommend matt lamination for designs in dark colours.
If you want to print on the plastic cards using a card printer, for example, to print the name of the customer on bonus cards, please choose the glossy film lamination. Only plastic cards with a glossy film lamination can be printed subsequently. This is not possible with the matt lamination.
Lamination: During lamination, the surface of your product is sealed. Lamination protects your printed products or documents and gives them higher brilliance. - Turnaround Time

Artwork information
- Resolution at least 300 dpi for an original image size of.
- Include a surrounding trim of 0.11 inch, important information should be at least 0.15 inch from the edge of the final format size
- Fonts must be completely imbedded or converted to curves.

- thanks to their rigid and weather-resistant properties, plastic cards are ideally suited as business cards, pocket calendars, loyalty cards, bonus cards in the food service industry or as staff badges (depending on the format)
- they are printed on 0.03“ rigid PVC plastic (thickness: 30 mil like a credit card)
- All plastic cards are laminated. You can choose between matt or glossy film lamination. We recommend:
- designs in light colours: glossy lamination
- designs in dark colours: matt lamination
- Note: Plastic cards can be printed afterwards.
- same format as credit cards, debit cards and European driving licenses

Material 0.03“ rigid PVC plastic white
For our high-quality plastic cards, we use white, satin-finish 0.03“ rigid PVC plastic white (thickness: 0.029 inch) which is particularly durable, abrasion- and weather-resistant. Corner rounding is always included; please observe the data notes and the product data sheet while creating the print files.
Signature fieldYou can select the size of the signature field individually. The number of signature fields per card is also optional. Please observe the data notes while creating the signature field.
Magnetic stripMagnetic strip cards are plastic cards that are provided with a magnetic strip as a data carrier. The position of the magnetic strip is predefined; please observe the data notes while creating your print files.
Technical data of the magnetic strip writable with data:
Design of magnetic strip in accordance with ISO standard 8711 which says that the magnetic strip must have a storage capacity of approx. 1024 bits on three tracks.
Tracks 1 and 2 are specified for read-only operation while track 3 is for read/write.
The possible characters for the encoding of the respective track are defined as follows:
Track 1: 76 net characters (alphanumerical 7 bits/character)
Track 2: 37 net characters (numerical 5 bits/character)
Track 3: 104 net characters (numerical 5 bits/character)
